Zhantoro Mirzaliev, a student of the Physical Education Department at Osh State University, claimed first place in the 77 kg weight category at an international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament held in Osh.
The competition took place on November 14-15 at the Dynamo Sports Complex and was dedicated to the memory of Bayaman Erkinbaev, a former member of parliament and the founder of the “Alysh” wrestling style.
The event brought together around 200 athletes from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan competing across 10 weight categories. Winners received medals, certificates, and cash awards provided by the Osh City Hall Committee for Physical Culture and Sports.
