Faculty members of the International Medical Faculty of Osh State University took part in the international scientific and practical conference held on November 14 at the Andijan State Medical Institute.
The event focused on current challenges in simulation-based medical education, the exchange of best practices, and the development of innovative teaching methods.
Speakers from the Department of Clinical Disciplines 2 delivered several presentations within the conference theme, “Simulation Training in Medicine: Problems, Solutions, and Prospects.” Makhabat Bugubaeva and Jazgul Abjamilova presented “Can Virtual Patients Replace the First Surgery?” highlighting the role of virtual technologies in early clinical training. Gulnaz Osmonova discussed “The Simulation Center: Prospects and Experience in Hosting International Olympiads,” sharing insights into the university’s achievements in simulation education.
In addition, Oybek Azimov introduced the report “Virtual Patients: Experience of Their Use in the Final Assessment of Students at the International Medical Faculty,” while Begimai Muktarali kyzy and Altynai Nuralieva presented “The K Plus Virtual Simulator: New Opportunities in Teaching International Students.”
At the end of the conference, all participants received international certificates in recognition of their contributions.
