Book Presentation “Zharatman" (The Creator)
On November 13, Osh State University hosted the presentation of “Zharatman" (The Creator), a new book by Zhumadil Egemberdiev, one of the founders of the well-known company “Shoro”.
The event brought together Rector Kudaiberdy Kozhobekov, university faculty, students, public figures, and readers interested in contemporary literature. The literary editor, Oldzhobai Shakir, opened the event by presenting the book’s concept and artistic vision.
In his address, Zhumadil Egemberdiev highlighted that the main message of the book is a call for faith, creativity, and purposeful action. He also shared his personal reflections on childhood memories with his late brother and partner in business, Taabaldy Egemberdiev, and discussed his experiences as an entrepreneur in the 1990s, both in Kyrgyzstan and abroad.
The event featured an auction, where winners received copies of the book and special certificates, and concluded with a concert program celebrating the occasion.
The book “The Creator”, published in 7,000 copies in Kyrgyz and Russian, was edited by writer Olzhobai Shakir and translated into Russian by Uluk and Zhyldyz Urakunov.
