On November 7, a delegation from Osh State University, currently on an official working visit to China, took part in the Board of Directors meeting of the Zheng He Institute at the Nanjing Institute of Technology.

During the meeting, the annual report on joint cooperation between the two universities was presented and approved. The participants also discussed plans for future collaboration and reviewed the necessary procedures and documentation for students enrolled in dual-degree programs to continue their studies in China.

It was confirmed that the required level of Chinese language proficiency for participating students will be HSK 4. The parties agreed that students will be exempt from tuition fees and will be eligible for various scholarships, including municipal, rector’s, and university scholarships, based on GPA and HSK achievements. Additionally, tuition fees will also be waived for Osh State University students pursuing master’s and PhD programs in China. PhD candidates will have the opportunity to conduct joint research with scholars from the Nanjing Institute of Technology under external supervision.

Furthermore, Bektur Azimov, Director of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies at Osh State University, was appointed as the official ambassador of the Nanjing Institute of Technology abroad.

This visit marks an important step in expanding academic exchange, research cooperation, and student mobility between the two universities.
