Osh State University Philologists Visit Fergana State University
As part of the academic mobility program, students and faculty members of the Department of Russian Philology at Osh State University visited Fergana State University on November 3.
During the visit, faculty members delivered guest lectures and discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation between the two universities.
Associate Professor Z.M. Sabiralieva presented a lecture on “Chingiz Aitmatov and 20th-Century Russian Literature” for members of Fergana State University’s literary club.
T.B. Asanova shared her research on “The Russian Language in Kyrgyzstan,” while A.I. Shaimkulova gave a talk on “The Concept of ‘Bakyt’ in Russian and Uzbek Linguistic Cultures.”
The delegation also toured the university campus and visited cultural landmarks in Fergana. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, fostering academic exchange and strengthening partnership ties between Osh State University and Fergana State University.
