Dual Education in Action at Osh State University
As part of the program initiated by Minister of Education D. Sh. Kendirbaeva on “Integrating Dual Education into the Learning Process,” the Department of Russian Philology of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication has sent fourth-year students to secondary schools in the city of Osh as trainee teachers, based on a request from the City Department of Education.
The students are conducting Russian language and literature lessons according to the school schedule. Mentors from both the institute and partner schools have been assigned to provide methodological guidance and support. Methodologists from the Department of Teaching Methods of Russian Language and Literature maintain close contact with schoolteachers and regularly visit student lessons.
Dual education is an educational model that combines theoretical study at a university with practical work in real institutions. This approach enables students to gain not only academic knowledge but also valuable professional experience — effectively preparing them for future careers in education.
