Osh State University hosted an international scientific and practical conference titled “The Role of the State in Domestic Violence Prevention: Theory and Practice” on October 24.
The event was opened by Vice-Rector for Research Elzar Esharov, who highlighted the need for joint efforts between academia and government institutions to combat domestic violence.
The conference was organized by the Institute of History and Law together with the Osh branch of the Republican Training Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It gathered researchers and experts from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan.
Participants discussed key issues related to domestic violence prevention and adopted a final resolution to enhance interagency and academic cooperation in this field.
