Year in Review: Osh State University in International Rankings
The year 2025 was a successful year for Osh State University. In the QS Asia 2026 rankings, the university entered the TOP-316 in Asia and TOP-22 in Central Asia.
The university, which received a special status, strengthened dual education by integrating education, science, and industry. Establishing independent standards, as well as academic and financial autonomy, OSU’s sustainable development model is being successfully implemented for 2023–2026.
Joint degree programs with international partners have expanded, and OSU received 4 stars in the QS Stars rating. In the QS Sustainability Rankings, the university ranked TOP-1251 for its impact on the environment and society, and TOP-1107 in governance.
OSU’s key advantage is commercializing scientific projects and investing in innovation. The university has taken confident steps in global rankings, becoming a recognized institution that promotes Kyrgyzstan to the world.
