Dear friends, the Department of Public Health announces a competition among students of the International Medical Faculty in 4 categories: 1. "The best national costume".

Purpose and objectives of the contest
The aim of the competition is to preserve and develop the traditions of the national culture of the peoples, to popularize the national costume as the best example of the traditional culture of the peoples, as well as to stimulate the interest of the student youth in the study, preservation and development of the traditions of the national costume and custom. We are actively submitting applications for participation. All the terms of the contest are below.
The competition will be held in two stages.
The first stage is remote-the contestants send their applications for participation until March 25 (inclusive) by e-mail nazgul92med@mail.ru.
The second stage of the competition: To participate in which it is necessary to send a video for the following categories (no more than 6 minutes by telegram) by 5 April: 1. "Best National Costume" - fashion show. When demonstrating the collection, theatricalization is allowed for the most vivid disclosure of the advantages of the competitive costume. 2. "National customs and traditions" - to reveal the goals of folk customs and traditions. 3. "National dishes" - demonstration of cooking (for whom and in what cases it is prepared). 4. "National dances" - to reveal the essence of the dance (in which cases they dance), the art of performance.
Each participant has the right to submit their work in each of the categories.
The jury will select the best costumes according to the following criteria: disclosure of the history of the national costume in the created image, craftsmanship, costume decor elements, originality, design and relevance of the idea. It will also take into account the stage embodiment, theatricality, the transfer of national characteristics by the costume, the identity of the image, the national color.
Photos and videos of the participants ' works and open voting will be posted on the department's social sites on Instagram and Facebook. The participant with the highest number of likes based on the results of voting is awarded the "Audience Award". The award ceremony for the contest participants and the announcement of the winners will take place on April 15. The winners of the competition are awarded the titles I-II-III place in each category and nomination. The winners will be awarded diplomas and memorable prizes on behalf of the department.
