Osh State University lecturers presented Kyrgyz tourism in Ashgabat
Associate professors of the Department of Economic Geography, Sectoral Economics and Tourism, Kalybek Samiev and Ernest Alaychiev, presented Kyrgyzstan’s tourism potential and proposals for developing joint tourist routes at the international tourism forum “TurkmenTravel-2026.”
The event was held from April 14 to 16 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. More than 200 tourism agencies and researchers from Turkey, China, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and other countries participated.
At the forum, Kalybek Samiev and Ernest Alaychiev delivered presentations on the tourism sector in Kyrgyzstan and the ongoing work in this field at Osh State University. The participants also discussed the development of joint tourist routes and the expansion of academic mobility for students and lecturers.
The “TurkmenTravel-2026” forum aims to promote Turkmenistan’s tourism potential at the global level.
