OshSU Rector spoke on staff training at a forum in China

Rector of Osh State University Kudayberdi Kozhobekov, is participating in the 130th anniversary celebration of Xi’an Jiaotong University and the Forum of Rectors of Leading World Universities taking place in China.

During the event, Kozhobekov delivered a presentation at the panel discussion titled “Ways of Training Future Professionals in a Globalized World.” He noted that the modern world is placing new demands on the higher education system. According to the rector, globalization, digitalization, the development of artificial intelligence, and changes in the labor market are increasing the demand for a new type of specialists. He also emphasized that the integration of education, science, and industry is one of the key directions in training future professionals, and highlighted major projects being implemented at OshSU in this area.

In his concluding remarks, Kudayberdi Kozhobekov stated that in a globalized world, universities’ commitment to openness, cooperation, and exchange of experience is especially important. He called on participants to work together in the fields of education and cooperation.

The Rectors’ Forum is being held at Xi’an Jiaotong University and has brought together university leaders, representatives of international organizations, and experts from different countries around the world. As part of the event, a “World-Class Universities Exhibition” was also organized, where informational stands about OshSU were presented.

The rector’s working visit to China will continue from April 6 to April 9.
