On March 20, a festive entertainment event dedicated to the Nooruz holiday was organized at Barpy Alykulov Park in Osh for city residents and guests.

Talented teachers and students presented a концерт program, and national sports competitions were held, including arm wrestling, tug of war, and kettlebell lifting.

In addition, the Institute of Pedagogy, Arts and Journalism and the Higher School of International Educational Programs prepared traditional dishes, including sumolok — the main dish of Nooruz. Residents were given warm wishes and a festive atmosphere was created. Students also staged traditional Kyrgyz customs by presenting the “Kyz-Jigit Sarmerden” performance. In the evening, a concert program titled “My Heart is Kyrgyzstan” was held, featuring songs and dances.

The event was attended by Rector Kudayberdi Kozhobekov, who отметил the unity of the team and expressed gratitude to the staff for organizing the celebration at a high level.

The festive evening was also attended by city mayor Zhanar Akaev, along with officials and members of the Jogorku Kenesh, who congratulated residents on the Nooruz holiday.
