On November 20, ten outstanding students from Osh State University (OSU) were awarded the prestigious Atulduk Scholarship at an event titled “Idea, Effort, Result.”
The ceremony was attended by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, scholarship patron and Professor Saly Karimov, representatives of Kompanion Bank, parents, faculty, and students.
Rector Kozhobekov congratulated the recipients, saying:
"Today, you have been awarded the Patriotic Scholarship - he highest scholarship in Kyrgyzstan. Our professor has been saving his entire salary for over ten years to support exceptional students. This scholarship is a symbol of excellence and should mark not the end of your achievements, but the beginning."

Tattybubu Gulamova – Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies
The ceremony also recognized students who received Presidential scholarships for the 2024–2025 academic year, the top 20 students at OSU, and young achievers with excellent results throughout the year. The Department of Cultural and Educational Work organized a lottery, awarding valuable gifts, including lunch with the our rector.
Professor Saly Karimov, patron of the Patriotic Scholarship and Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, addressed the students:
"As a student, I received the highest scholarship at the time - the Stalin Scholarship. That experience inspired me to support young people through scholarships, and now I aim to expand opportunities even further."
Established in 2012, the Scholarship is one of the most prestigious in Kyrgyzstan. It recognizes students who demonstrate independence, academic excellence, and active participation in community life. In the 2025–2026 academic year, ten students will receive a monthly stipend of 12,000 soms, with the total amount awarded this year reaching 960,000 soms.
The scholarship is awarded based on the Osh State University Best Student Competition Regulations, conducted in two stages: faculty-level selection and university-level final competition, supporting students’ growth in research, education, and professional development.
