On November 10, in celebration of World Science Day, Osh State University held a ceremony recognizing faculty members for their outstanding contributions to research in 2024-2025.
The results of the “Scientific Exhibition of Internal Grant Projects of Osh State University – 2025” competition were announced, and awards were presented in the following categories:
Best Scientific Project – 2025:
Islamidin Tashpolotov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Experimental and Theoretical Physics at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technology.
Best Innovative Project – 2025:
Zhanybai Zhusubaliev, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Graphic Design at the same institute.
Best Project Aimed at Preserving National Values – 2025:
Tazhibay Aitbayev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of General History and Methods of Teaching History at the Institute of History and Law.
Best Project – 2025:
Abdugani Abdurasulov, Professor of the Department of Veterinary Science and Biotechnology at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies.
Best Project – 2025:
Abdizhapar Akkulov, Director of the Consulting Center for Mountain Ecosystem Conservation and Green Innovations, PhD in Geography, Associate Professor.
Best Project – 2025:
Abdurashit Nizamiyev, Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies, Doctor of Geography, Professor.
Best Project – 2025:
Makhabat Bugubaeva, Head of the Department of Clinical Disciplines No. 2, PhD in Medicine, Associate Professor.
Best Social Project – 2025:
Ernisbek Alaychiev, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Geography, Sectoral Economics, and Tourism, PhD in Geography.
In addition to the category winners, the directors of 18 projects featured in the exhibition received certificates.
Based on the results of the Best Monograph 2025 competition, the following faculty members were recognized:
First Degree Diploma and Cash Prize:
Abdymitalip Murzakmetov, Associate Professor of the Department of Kyrgyz Literature at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication.
Second Degree Diploma and Cash Prize:
Omurzak Akmatov, Acting Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Political Science at the Institute of Pedagogy, Arts, and Journalism.
Third Degree Diploma and Cash Prize:
Zinagul Dzhooshbekova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of General Psychology at the same institute.
Eighty-two authors of 100 research articles published in prestigious international journals ranked in top quartiles (Q1, Q2, Q3) were awarded cash prizes ranging from 15,000 to 75,000 soms.
Cash prizes ranging from 15,000 to 50,000 soms were awarded to:
16 authors of 18 articles in the first three quartiles,
38 authors of 47 articles in the second three quartiles,
35 and 28 authors of articles ranked in the third three quartiles.
Forty-four faculty members who successfully defended their doctoral and candidate dissertations received honorary diplomas. Among them:
Five faculty members who completed their doctoral dissertations were awarded 100,000 soms each.
Thirty-one faculty members who defended their candidate dissertations received 50,000 soms each.
