QS World University Rankings 2027: OshSU Strengthens Its Global Reputation

From regional leadership to global recognition: Osh State University is developing as an internationally competitive, research-oriented university actively integrating into the global academic community.

Osh State University's international reputation and recognition are also reflected in its achievements within the QS ranking system, one of the world's most prestigious university ranking systems.

In the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2027, Osh State University ranked 341st among 1,722 universities in Asia and 23rd among 99 higher education institutions in Central Asia. It also secured 3rd place among the nine Kyrgyzstani universities included in the ranking. Among public universities in Kyrgyzstan, Osh State University ranked 1st.

According to the 2027 ranking results, Osh State University performed better than 80.3% of the higher education institutions included in the Asian university rankings. This achievement marks an important milestone in the university's international development and demonstrates its growing recognition within the regional and global academic communities.

A total of nine universities from Kyrgyzstan were included in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2027. We congratulate Ala-Too International University, the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin, and Osh Technological University on their debut in the ranking.
