On March 13, the delegation of the OShSU, on a working trip to Europe, met with the leadership of the Western Czech University in Plzen и and discussed a wide range of issues on further cooperation. The delegation of Osh State University visited the faculties of philosophy, art, linguistics and engineering faculty and signed cooperation agreements for a number of programs.

Earlier in 2017, Osh State University and the Western Czech University signed an agreement on joint cooperation, within which Osh State University guest lectures were attended by the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Art, Professor Pavel Varzheka and his deputy, Mr. David Shantz. Also, 10 Czech students went a month`s training in academic mobility.

Western Czech University was established after the Second World War, where currently more than 13,000 students study at 9 faculties, of which foreign students studying on different grants are more than 10%.
