Subject cycle of technical disciplines

On July 16, 2003, the Department of Engineering and Special Technical Disciplines was created at the Institute of Energy Resources and Communication Technologies of Osh State University, the first head of which was Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor I.G. Kenzhaev. In 2006, in connection with the creation of the Faculty of Physics and Technology as part of Osh State University, the department was reorganized into the department "Power supply and road transport". In 2008-2009, the department was headed by the candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Aidarbekov Z.Sh. Further, the department "Electric power and road transport" was divided into two departments, the department "Road transport" was headed by the candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Zh. Tursunbaev l in 2019-2019. In 2019-2020, the department "Automobile transport" was headed by the candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Sultanov S.K. From the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year, the STEM Innovation College has been created in the structure of Osh State University, and the teachers of the Automobile Transport Department have been fully transferred to the subject cycle of technical disciplines. Currently, this cycle employs 1 doctor of sciences, professor, 4 candidates of sciences, associate professors, 6 masters, 5 teachers and 1 laboratory assistant. The main goal of the cycle is to train highly qualified mid-level specialists: 1. 190604 - training of technical specialists in the specialty "Maintenance and repair of cars"; 2. 190503 - Training of electromechanics in the specialty "Operation of electrical equipment and automation"; 3. 140212 - Training of electricians in the specialty "Power supply (by industry)"; 4. 200403 - Training of technical personnel in the specialty "Repair, maintenance and installation of medical equipment". Scientists of the cycle are in close contact with the following international institutes and universities: Physicotechnical Institute NPO "Physics-Sun", Tashkent; University of Leeds, England; Almaty Institute of Energy and Communications, Almaty; Kyrgyz Technical University, Bishkek; Southern Branch of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Osh; Kyrgyz-Uzbek University, Osh; Osh Technological University, Osh.
