Regulations on admission to the magistracy

Osh State University

This provision was developed on the basis of the procedure for admission to higher professional education at the Osh State University, coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic on June 15, 2016 and in accordance with the statutory provisions of the OSHU and the governing documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (KR) training of citizens of the KR and other states in a system of multi-level higher education.

1. This Regulation establishes general requirements for the procedure for organizing and conducting certification tests for admission to a master′s program in Osh State University.

2. Persons who hold a state diploma of higher professional education with an academic degree of "bachelor" in the relevant field or a higher professional education are acknowledged by the assignment of a "specialist" qualification for a related specialty.

3. Foreign citizens are accepted for training in a magistracy in accordance with this provision.

4. Documents are accepted by the Technical Secretary in accordance with the procedure for admission to Osh State University. The admission committee is provided with the original of the diploma of higher professional education or a copy of the diploma certified by a notary.

5. The admission of documents and the competition for applicants to the master′s program is carried out within the deadlines set by the admission committee.

6. The competition for admission to the master′s program consists of entrance examinations in the form of interviews in the direction of the master′s degree (analysis of documents on education, scientific publications, coursework and other attestation works, other documents confirming the applicant′s achievements in the chosen field of science).

7. To organize and conduct an interview for a master′s degree, a commission is established by the order of the rector on the basis of a report of the responsible secretary of the Admission Committee of the Osh State University.

8. The Commission on the results of the interview by open vote takes a decision recommending or refusing admission to the master′s program and the decision of the commission is formalized by the final protocol.

9. Based on the results of the commission′s decision, on the basis of the report of the responsible secretary, the order of the rector on enrollment for 1 course is issued.

10. If there are vacant seats for specific master′s programs left after the main admission to the magistracy, an additional reception may be announced, the terms of which are determined by the admission committee.
