History of the Department
HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT On July 16, 2003, by order of the rector of OshMU at the Institute of Energy Resources and Communication Technologies, the department “Engineering and Special Technical Disciplines” was formed and was headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kenzhaev Idirisbek Gulamovich. In 2006, in connection with the formation of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, the department was renamed to “Power supply and road transport”. From May 21, 2008 to October 25, 2016, the department was headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Aidarbekov Zaripbek Sharipovich. On July 30, 2009, in order to optimize the structure of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, by decision of the Academic Council of OshMU (07/29/2009) and by order of the rector of Osh State University (No. transport". Since October 25, 2016, the department has been headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Sultanov Sayit Kozhonovich. On February 12, 2019, by order of the rector of Osh State University (No. 154), a candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Matisakov Tүgolbai Kubatbaevich was appointed to the Department of Energy. The teaching staff of the department consists of 2 doctors of science, professor 4 candidates of science, associate professor 2 senior teachers, 2 teachers, 1 methodologist and 1 laboratory assistant.
