On April 7 - World Health Day.On that day, running competitions were held on the Ak-Bura campus of Osh State University.

University teachers and students took part in sports events aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, sports and physical culture. In the 500-meter race among teachers over 40 years old, Matlyuba Sarieva from the EHF took 1st place, Chynara Aldashova from the Faculty of Medicine, 3rd place - Rakhat Ashimova.

In the category up to 40 years, the results: 1st place Aizhamal Zhumabekova (medical faculty), 2nd place - Aichurүk Arypzhanova, 3rd place - Elenora Zholdoshova. All winners were awarded diplomas and prizes from the organizers.

As part of the event, everyone could measure blood pressure and receive medical advice on health.

World Health Day was established in 1948 by a decision of the WHO.
