On April 2, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov presented the citizens of the country with state awards, distinguished in their activities. Among the awardees were worthy representatives of Osh State University.

Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor Satkynbai Momunaliev and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Gulbadan Matieva, Professor of Musical Education Department, Theory and Choral Conducting Bukarbai Imetov were awarded with title of "Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic".
