Material and technical base of the department complies with the requirements of the educational standard of specialties. Specialized music classrooms and laboratories equipped with special music equipments. Classes for elementary music theory, ear training, music history provided with visual aids, records and audio recordings. Classrooms and offices are provided with musical instruments. For lectures and cultural events using the concert hall of the Faculty. With efforts of teachers of the department was created a museum of the famous melodist R.Abdykadyrova , . There is a recording laboratory. Items provided with educational literature, there are computer classes with the Internet. Lectures are held in the classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards to multimedia systems

Methodical and information training of the educational process:

Library fund has sufficient textbooks and musical scores, musical works of composers, scientists and periodical publications across the spectrum of disciplines. It is equipped with modern, scientific textbooks published in Russia, based on the methodological developments of the faculty department teachers, and the way to provide students compulsory and optional instructional literature. The department annually takes in magazines from Russia: "Musical Life", "Russian Composers" and "Composers from the school." The department has more than 40 copies of the e-books on the subjects studied, more than 40 DVD- ROM drive on the history of world art and music, music dictionaries and computer products for multimedia technologies.

The demand for graduates, their professional advancement:
Graduates of the department hardly find a job in educational and cultural institutions of the republic. In most cases they work in schools of Osh region and educational institutions of Jalal-Abad, Batken region. Some graduates who have graduated from University with honors work in secondary and higher educational institutions. Employers say that our faculty graduators are professionals with the high level of knowledge and practical skills
