Встреча с известными писательницами и поэтессами КР Тазагүл Закировой, Эльмирой Исаковой, Гүласал Алиевой и Бермет Закировой, посвященная «Международному женскому дню 8- марта», в рамках празднования 85-летнего юбилея ОшГУ была организована и проведена преподавателями и студентами кафедры «Американистики и перевода» 4 марта, 2024 года.

The American Center is the center of American culture, which not only offers information about the political, social and cultural life of America, but also meets the linguistic and educational needs of users.
The American Center offers various thematic exhibitions, holidays, seminars, lectures and discussion. The Information Center provides information about US education. Students also can prepare for varied international exams (TOEFL, GMAT) and get information about exchange training programs sponsored by the US Department. The purpose of the center is to popularize literature, history, culture, traditions and customs of the United States.
The American Center offers the following services:
- obtaining the necessary and interesting information for research work and teaching English
- advising users about US educational and cultural exchange programs
- Book Resources
- Videos and games in English.

September 1 - International literacy day: discussion
September 30 - Translator′s Day: international conference
October 13 - Columbus Day: information hour
October 31 - Halloween: costume party
November 27 - Thanksgiving Day: iinformation hour
December 25 - Christmas day - Christmas: musical evening
February 14 - Valentine′s Day: competition
March 8 - World Women′s Day: photo contest
March 17 - St. Patrick′s Day: information hour
May 26 - Memorial day - Day of remembrance: information hour
June 14 - US Flag Day, information hour
July 4 - Happy Birthday America - America′s Birthday: information hour
Working hours:
Mon - Fri - from 8:00 to 17:00,
Saturday - from 9:00 to 14:00
Day off: Sunday and public holidays.
