The main energy enterprises, where students strengthen the theoretical knowledge gained within the walls of the university with practical production skills, are:
- OshPVES - Osh enterprise of high-voltage electrical networks;
- JSC "Oshelectro" - Open Joint Stock Company "Oshelectro"
- Osh CHPP - Osh combined heat and power plant;
- OshRES - Osh district electric network;
- Jalalabat RES - Jalalabat district electric network;
- BatkenRES - Batken regional electric network;
- KarasuRES - Karasu district electric network;
- NaukatRES - Naukat district electric network;
- UzgenRES - Uzgen district electric network;
- AravanRES - Aravan District Electric Network.
In addition, there are also agreements with the cascade of Toktogul HPP (Toktogul HPP and Kurpsai HPP) and the enterprise of HPPs under construction (Uchkorgon, Shamaldysay, Tashkumyr and Kambaratinsky-2 HPPs).
Every year, for students of electrical power specialties and directions, the leadership of the university and the department organize educational and study tours to the existing Hydroelectric Power Plants (HPPs) located on the Naryn cascade, as well as to the electric power plant located in the city of Osh (Osh CHPP, Heat supply, Pumping stations, factories etc.). Before sending students to work practice, safety training at work is organized and leaders from the university and from production are appointed. At the end of the practical training at the department for students, a conference is organized for the acceptance of reports, where the reports of the trainee on the work done in production, on the production characteristics issued by the head of production, are considered, and differentiated assessments are inserted to the trainee.
