Theology - 531600 provides the following preparatory areas:

- the major educational program for bachelors in the field of the Higher professional education

- the major educational program for masters in the field of the Higher professional education (MEP HPE)

The academic bachelor’s degree and the diploma of higher education are issued to graduates of the higher educational institutions who fully mastered the MEP HPE for the preparation of bachelors and successfully passed the final state certification in accordance with the established procedure.

The academic master’s degree and the diploma of higher education are issued to graduates of the higher educational institutions who fully mastered the MEP HPE for the preparation of the masters and successfully passed the final state certification in accordance with the established procedure.

Theology - 531600 for the preparation of bachelor in the form of full-time education on the basis of general secondary or secondary vocational education is mastered during a period of not less than 4 years.

The total working activity for the development of the MEP HPE for the preparation of a bachelor’s degree is no less than 240 credits.

The total working activity for the development of the MEP HPE during the academic year in the form of full-time education is at least 60 credits (credit units).

The total working activity of one academic semester is equal to 30 credits.

One credit (credit unit) is equal to 30 hours of study time (including student work in the classroom, his independent work and all types of certification).

The field of professional activities of preparation of graduates in the direction of Theology - 531600 includes the following:

- general secondary and secondary vocational schools (secondary schools, lyceums, gymnasiums, etc.)

- higher educational institutions, cultural and mass media institutions, academic and research organizations related to religious issues, state and municipal institutions cooperating with religious associations.

Professional objects of the graduates in the direction of Theology - 531600 includes the following:

- training of students of general secondary and secondary vocational education;

- providing educational organizational issues, technology support and advisory work;

- rearrangement and characterization of museum exhibits, guided tours;

- cataloguing materials and literature on religious issues in libraries and archives;

- providing advice to the media, by conducting analysis on religious issues, as well as printing religious materials;

- rendering general and scientific editorial assistance on religious issues to the printing offices;

- conducting joint work with religious organizations in the framework of cooperation with state and municipal bodies.
