Department of Accounting and Economic Analysis
The Department "Accounting and Economic Analysis" was created to train highly qualified specialists in the specialty "Accounting, Analysis and Audit", this department was established in 2000 on May 18 on the basis of order No. 6/1 signed by the Rector of OSH State University with the appointment of the head of the Department, Doctor of Economics, Professor Arzybaev Atabek Alibekovich.
In 2004, the first graduates of the department in the specialty "Accounting, analysis and audit" were awarded the qualification "Economist". The position of the head of the department was held from 2003 to 2007 by Doctor of Economics Professor J.T.Turgunbayev, from 2007 to 2008, Professor A.M.Juraev, from 2009 to 2016, Doctor of Economics, Professor T.C.Kulataev, from 2016 to 2020, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor T.M.Israilov, with 2020 to 2021, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor I.R. Myrzaibraimova and from June 2021 to the present, the head of the Department is Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor K.K. Toktorov.
In the period from 2010 to 2022, 4 doctors and 12 candidates of economic sciences defended their dissertations and received academic degrees. Thus, to date, the department employs 3 doctors and 12 candidates of economic sciences, as well as 2 senior teachers and 4 teachers, including 4 masters in Economics, a total of 21 teachers at the department. Of the teaching staff, Toktors K.K., Israilov T.M., Myrzaibraimova I.R. and Bekmuratov A.T. completed the course of International Certified Accountants Practitioners (CAP). On the basis of the department, a training center for the CIPA program was opened, to date, more than 35 personnel from among students and graduates have been trained under the guidance of teachers of the department.
The teaching staff of the department is actively engaged in research work, professional development, regularly participates in seminars, conferences, and exchanges experience abroad. In July 2014, K.K.Toktorov, Ph.D. in Economics, was at the Qin-Jiang Pedagogical University of the People′s Republic of China, in October of the same year, Asanov M.A. Israilov T.M. Kurmanbekova A.A. visited the Sinop University of Turkey on a working visit to exchange experience. In July 2015, Asanov M.A., Alimova G.B., Myrzaibraimova I.R. arrived on a visit to the Cyprus International University. In May 2018, Professor of the Department, Doctor of Economics Aybashev M. J visited Germany and Romania to exchange experiences with the Erasmus Project. In addition, during the 2017-2019 period, Tashkent State University was visited by teachers of the Department T.M.Israilov, I.R.Myrzaibraimova, D.A.Osmonalieva and B.S.Raimbeerdiev, and K.K.Toktorov, A.T.Makyev and N.M.Tashiev visited the Tajik State University of Economics in Dushanbe. In 2021, professors of the department T.Kulataev, M.A.Jorobayeva and Associate Professor T.M.Israilov participated in the conference in Alanya, Turkey.
The increase in market relations and the adoption of international accounting standards (IFRS) have led to a change in the accounting system in the Republic. As a result, much attention was paid to the training of specialists who meet the requirements of IFRS.
Members of the department take an active part in courses and seminars on the international certification program for professional accountants and auditors.
