Head of the Department of International Relations – Nurdinova Kanyshay Hamitovna, Ph.D., professor, distinguished worker of the Kyrgyz Republic education, recipient of awards from the government of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honored worker of OshSU.

Moreover, she is one of the founders of International Relations Faculty.

The Department of International Relations (IR) is the first department of the faculty, created together with International Education Integration Faculty of Osh State University in 2000. Today, this Department is one of the main structural units of the faculty of international relations, carrying out educational, methodological and research work within the study of 530800 “International Relations”.By appointment, it is a degree-granting,department as it carries out theoretical and practical special courses for graduates in the field of "International Relations", and also organizes their state certification and supervision of undergraduate theses.

The mission of the department is to provide high-quality competency-based professional education established on a combination of the classical traditions of higher education and modern educational technologies, highly qualified faculty, the permanent training and professional development of specialists who are competitive in the Kyrgyz and international labor markets.

The objective of the department is an implementation of the program of higher professional education in the study of International Relations.

-Improvement of educational activities of the teaching staff;

- The development of educational and methodological sets and the implementation of educational and work programs in the disciplines of 530800 “International Relations”;

- The introduction of new teaching technologies in order to develop the creative potential of students and their capabilities;

- The formation of an individual, educational path of students, the supervision of educational, research, production and pre-qualification practice;

- Conducting research within the study of international relations,instilling student research skills,the organization of research and development work;

- Conducting training and mentoring of students;
