THE POLICY OF OSH STATE UNIVERSITY IN THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

The Universitys missions are:

- to ensure the quality assurance in the process of modern education by adopting the competency-based approach;

- to integrate of education, science and culture into the global educational space;

- to edeucate in youth of moral, cultural and human values;

- to prepare highly qualified personnel capable of ensuring the economic, social and political development of the state with their intellectual potential;

- to be listed to the top five universities of Central Asia.

The goal of university for the future – to transform of Osh State University from classical one into the world-class research and is innovation one.

Strategic goal – is to join the TOP-700 research universities in the world until 2024.

In accordance with the development concept of Osh State University for 2019-2024, strategic directions and key provisions regarding quality were determined.

Strategic directions:

I. STRATEGIC DIRECTION – to implement innovations in the learning process and in education

II. STRATEGIC DIRECTION – to transform the university from a classical one into the national research one

III. STRATEGIC DIRECTION – to manage effectively and to develop human resources

IV. STRATEGIC DIRECTION – to make OshSU a center for international education and science (export of education)

V. STRATEGIC DIRECTION – to develop the infrastructure of education and science

VI. STRATEGIC DIRECTION – to create a circle of digital education

VII. STRATEGIC DIRECTION – to foster humanity and spiritual culture, health and sport.

Key provision:

- to ensure compliance of educational activities to state educational standards, with increasing needs of society for qualified specialists and scientific and pedagogical personnel with higher qualifications, as well as with needs of students in intellectual, cultural, spiritual and moral development;

- to create sustainability in mutual relations with all persons interested in educational process, studying and analyzing their requirements for the educational process;

- leadership and personal responsibility of managers of all levels, to ensure clarify of each employee with his or her duties, responsibilities, authorities and responsibilities;

- foster active involvement of teachers, staff and students in activities to improve the quality of education by constantly raising their qualifications, competence, professionalism, motivation, support and to create initiatives;

- to integrate the educational process with science, strengthening ties with scientific institutions, enterprises and organizations;

- to conduct regular self-assessment and to check achieved results when meeting meet the requirements of stakeholders;

- to improve educational and upbringing processes in order to form socially active and creative individuals with students with professional responsibility, independence, civic consciousness and with high moral values;

- to expand the types of educational services, to ensure their accessibility, as well as to use adequate and humane educational technologies;

- to digitalize the university, to ensure the quality improvement all types of activities;

- to improve constantly the educational, methodological, material and technical support of the educational process, to create conditions for productive and creative work of staff and students;

- to provide social support for employers and students, to protect their health and safety.

The policy of Osh State University in the quality of education is constantly analyzed and used by management as a means of guaranteeing the quality of educational activities. The policy is implemented at all levels and can be analyzed and revised if necessary. Each employee of the university bears personal responsibility, within his competence, for the quality of work.
