On June 11, the rector of Osh State University Kanybek isakov met with the delegation of the Chinese international center for distance education, headed by its general director, Mr. Zhao Ming. Among the guests were also deputy head of public relations, Mr. An Ying Jin, deputy director for technical issues, Mr. Yang Ion Nyan. The arrival of the Chinese guests was the result of the rector`s meetings with the leadership of this center in December of last year in the guise of a working trip to China.
The main goal of the Chinese center is to support the distant education of Osh SU with advanced technologies and close cooperation in this field.
At a meeting, the head of the center, Mr. Zhao Ming, presented a presentation on the center activities, which aroused great interest and discussion among the lecturer-audience and specialists. The guests got acquainted with the infrastructure, the material and technical base and the technologies used in the field, visiting the faculties and structural divisions of our university. Chinese colleagues appreciated the opportunities of Osh State University and noted that Osh State University is fully ready for the use of modern technologies in distance education. At the initiative of K. Isakov, the parties agreed on close cooperation in this area and agreed to create a working group to develop appropriate measures.
It is known, that this center is considered one of the world`s leading centers of education. He cooperates with more than 3 thousand universities in China, provides educational services to 20 million students in 400 specialties. Today the center has reached the 4th level of education and, using mobile Internet, emotional independent activity, principles of individual connections, prepares quality specialists. The education center "Ao Pen SEO" closely cooperates with the developed countries of the USA, Japan, Malaysia and confidently enters their educational space through active use of advanced information technologies.
