On May 10-11, a scientific conference was held in Osh State University dedicated to the famous Islamic scholar of the Middle Ages, Ali Bin Osmon Al-Oshiu, organized by the Theology faculty in cooperation with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
25 scientists from Turkey, 3 professors from Uzbekistan and a number of scientists and specialists from different universities of Kyrgyzstan took part in the forum.
Unfortunately, today there is no exact information about the date of birth, life and activity. Ali Bin Osmon bin Muhammad bin Sulaiman Abi Mohammed Sirazhuddin al-Taymiya al-Fargany al-Hanafi al-Oshiy al-Shahidiy. Only a few of his works have reached us.
It is known, that Oshiu was once known as a great scientist and his works are still widely used in religious organizations and institutions. The participants of the conference in their speeches noted its role and importance in the Islamic religion and culture.
