Dean of the faculty of Islamic Sciences, Istanbul University Mehmet Ali Buyukara on 27 April 2017 by the invitation of the faculty of theology of OSU with the support of the Turkish Foundation of Diyanet gave a lecture in faculty of theology for students and academic staff on the theme: "Modern Salafism". Professor Mehmet Ali Buyukara is one of the qualified experts on Islamic movements. He received his PhD at the University of Edinburgh England. And also the faculty of theology of OSU organized a meeting with Professor Mehmet Ali Buyukara with faculty of theology of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
