The teacher of the Osh State University of the Faculty of World languages and cultures of the Chair of English grammar and phonetics Mataeva Aiturgan held on December 2, 2017 Extracurricular activity dedicated to the 90 anniversary of the great Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov, entitled “World and Aitmatov”.

The extracurricular activity began with a slide- video which was showed Chyngyz Aitmatovs life and his works and the teacher read the report named “World and Aitmatov”. The students recited poetry about Aitmatov and acted some fragments from his works and made a presentation about his life and works. They discussed drawings that they drew themselves on theme “My favourite hero and novella”.

Winged words (popular expressions) of Aitmatov were shown on a video tape. As a result this extracurricular activity carried a huge educational character.
