Specialized classes on drug addiction prevention were conducted for students in grades 8-11 at Secondary School No. 7 named after Narimanov in Osh.

Dilaram Madaminova, an expert from the project “Combating Drug Addiction: Developing Measures to Ensure Public Safety in Kyrgyzstan,” shared this information. The training session, held on February 7, involved student volunteers from the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, representatives from the Osh City Health Department, the parents’ committee, the juvenile affairs inspection, social workers, and school administrators.

The project is being carried out under the guidance of Associate Professor Amanai Akmatova from Osh State University. The research focuses on developing a comprehensive strategy for the prevention, early detection, and treatment of drug addiction.
